Top Congress leaders are meeting in Surajkund
adjoining the capital in a Samvad Baithak, to
discuss the party's political strategy ahead.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi, the Prime
Minister, as well as Cabinet Ministers and
Ministers of State with independent charge are
present. The leaders are expected to review
the party's 2009 poll manifesto, as well as
discuss the strategy for the upcoming
Assembly and general elections. The fact that
this brain storming-cum-introspection
session is coming just days after Sunday's
massive rally, clearly indicates that the
leadership is trying to put the party in the poll mode.
