In a rare move, the Supreme Court on
Wednesday asked the Central government to
explain the regulatory framework which
determines the functioning of private security
agencies. The apex court has taken suo motu
cognizance of the killings of liquor and real-
estate baron Ponty Chadha and his brother
Hardeep.
