The outrage against misuse of law to curb free speech has reached Parliament with the people's representatives now highlighting the undemocratic nature of the IT Act. MPs across party lines including Priya Dutt from the Congress, Anurag Thakur from the BJP, Supriya Sule from the NCP and Dr Ajoy Kumar from the JVM are being led by the BJD's Jay Panda in bringing up the misuse of Section 66A of the IT Act, for a debate in Parliament and demanding amendments to the law.
