There seems to be a political war of words between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the killing of Indian soldiers by the Pakistan Army. Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Manish Tewari slammed senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj saying tactical response and not jingoism is the need of the hour.
Swaraj had alleged the government showed lack of respect to the martyr and demanded an apology. "The government should apologise for the apathy. They should apologise to the family of the soldier and the country. But they should at the same time take revenge for the incident which took place," she said.
