Mumbai Commissioner Satyapal Singh has
ordered a probe into a controversial poem
published in the city police's in-house magazine
Samwaad. The Commissioner has asked DCP SS
Gholap to submit a report in a fortnight's time.
Patil, in her poem, had referred to the Azad
Maidan protesters as traitors and snakes and
suggested that their hands should have been
chopped off.
