The government is considering a review of the
cap on subsidised LPG cylinders that had been
fixed at six cylinders per family per annum in
September this year as the Centre unleashed
its 'big bang reforms' to put the economy back
on track, sources said on Friday.
The government sources said that the Congress
wants it to be increased from six to nine
cylinders. However, a decision will be taken
only after due consultations, the sources added.
