A special court has awarded five years
rigorous imprisonment to NRI beautician --
Nooriya Haveliwala for causing death due to
rash and negligent driving. Nooriya was
arrested in 2010 after the car that she was
driving rammed in six people in South Mumbai,
killing 2 people, including a police inspector.
Medical reports had suggested that Nooriya
was under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
