Surrounded by controversies and scams, the
big three of the Congress - Prime Minister
Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi
and party General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will
try to divert attention by showcasing the
economic agenda of the government over the
past few months at a mega rally of party
workers at the Ramlila ground in New Delhi on
Sunday.
The PM is expected to focus on economic
reforms of the government, stressing on the
need for FDI. He will also try to defend
insurance and pension bills. He is likely to speak
about the priority to be given to social and
infrastructural development. Rahul's speech,
meanwhile, is expected to focus on the youth
but he too is likely to defend the PM's policy
decisions.
