In a gruesome incident in Bangalore, a Delhi-
based software engineer named Sidharth
Chaudahry, allegedly stabbed his wife to death
in Bangalore. Then attempted to kill himself by
slashing his own wrist. The man has survived,
but has been taken into custody by the
Bangalore police. Sidharth's wife Ruchi, worked
at an I-T firm in Bangalore and lived with her
parents and her three-year-old child. The
police believe the couple had a troubled
marriage and that Ruchi's refusal to apply for a
joint-loan with her husband, triggered the
murder. Sidharth is understood to have flown
down to Bangalore from Delhi and gone to
Ruchi's residence where the murder took place.
