Former cricketer and Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu was shown black flags upon his return from Pakistan. Sidhu had gone to Pakistan to attend Imran Khan's swearing-in ceremony, but he courted controversy for hugging Pak Army chief General Bajwa. Even Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has hit out at Sidhu, and added that the latter had gone to Islamabad in his personal capacity.
