Pradesh on Thursday. The police
say that the accused lured the girl
into his house where he tried to
coerce her to marry him.
When she refused, he and his
friends poured kerosene on her and
set her ablaze. The girl is fighting
35 to 50 per cent burns at a local
hospital. She has recorded her
statement before a magistrate.
