stop treating Sri Lanka as a friendly
country. The resolution was moved
by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and
also calls for referendum on
separate Eelam among Tamils in Sri
Lanka and Lankan Tamils abroad.
Tamil Nadu has also urged New
Delhi to stop all trade with the
island nation and impose economic
embargo against Lanka till atrocities against Tamils are stopped.
