Outrage grows over the rape of an
8-year-old girl at the Government
school in Mangolpuri in North West
Delhi. Even as police have detained
a guard and two male teachers of
the school for questioning,
Mangolpuri residents went on a
rampage breaking buses. The
victim, a class two student has
suffered severe injuries and is
being treated in a hospital. The girl
is yet to identify the accused. As
per the complaint filed by the
girl's family, the incident
reportedly happened on Thursday
afternoon. Meanwhile in a show of
action to calm the boiling anger of
the public, the Municipal
Commissioner of North Delhi
Municipal Corporation, has placed
the school principal, school
inspector, class teacher, shool
attendant and watchman under
suspension with immediate effect.
