India conducts its first successful intestinal
transplant surgery at the Medanta hospital in
Gurgaon. We speak to the man who performed
the surgery, Dr Arvinder Soin. It's the same
sort of surgery that could have helped save the
23-year-old student if her condition had
stabilised.
