Bal Thackeray may have been the great
polariser but his funeral proved beyond doubt
that he could bring crowds onto the streets of
Mumbai like the city has rarely seen. But this
mammoth turnout has already sparked
questions of whether son and successor Uddhav
would be able to successfully carry on the
mantle, especially with the Shiv Sena steadily
losing ground in Mumbai.
