Former Maharashtra chief minister and Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi has demanded that a memorial to party chief Bal Thackeray be built and installed at his cremation venue, the Shivaji Park, next to the memorial to Chhattrapati Shivaji. "We want his memorial to be built here (Shivaji Park). Why won't the government permit it?" asked Joshi, adding that the party wanted his memorial next to "Chhattrapati Shivaji's memorial".
