14-crore bribe offered to Army chief: CBI to file FIR after March 30, say sources
The CBI is wasting no time in tracking down the details of whether the Army Chief, General VK Singh, was offered a bribe of Rs 14 crore to clear a deal for sub-standard trucks. Sources say the CBI met the Army Chief on Monday for an initial response but the General is said to have told the agency that he will give a detailed response only after March 30, after he returns from his trip abroad.
