India Delhi Controversy || Constable Tomar Death: Why were innocents charged by Delhi Police?

More than a 100 days after arresting eight people on charges of murdering Constable Subhash Tomar at the India Gate protests, a U-turn by Delhi Police. Delhi Police has now told the Delhi High Court that the eight people arrested are not involved in the death.

Eight people were arrested on charges of attempt to murder, rioting and arson at the peak of the India Gate protests following the brutal gangrape of the Delhi Braveheart. After the death of Constable Subhash Tomar on the line of duty, murder charges were also invoked against them.
