The CBSE has okayed an open book
examination system. It will be
initially tried out for classes ninth
and eleventh in the 2013-14
academic session. From the next
year it will cover tenth and twelfth.
The examination will cover 20 per
cent of the total marks for a
subject. And students will learn 4
months in advance the topics they
will need to answer on.
