SC issues contempt notices to DGCA
on the petition filed by Society for
welfare of Indian Pilots. SC in May
2011 had directed the DGCA to
bring new Civil Aviation Regulations
which regulated Flight duty time
limitation of pilots and expatriates
to minimise flight fatigue. But
DGCA has so far failed to implement the SC order.
