In what appears to be a direct
result of public outrage,
Maharsashtra Police has finally
registered a case against VHP
leader Praveen Togadia. Togadia
has been in the dock for his hate
speech in Nanded, Maharashtra.
Online clippings of the
inflammatory speech given on the
22nd of January show Togadia
thundering about happenings in
Assam and Bhagalpur in Bihar in an
apparent response to Akbaruddin
Owaisi's hate diatribe earlier in
December. But Swamy has said that
the speech was not a hate speech
instead was a reply to question.
