After the head priest or Grand
Mufti Bashiruddin Ahmad
described the all-girl Kashmiri
band as "un-Islamic", the Chief
Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted,"
Given the importance the people
attach to the fatwas of the Grand
Mufti, the less said the better." He
later deleted that post. When asked
why, he told NDTV: "Once there is
something on Twitter, even for a
minute, it is forever. I put it and
then deleted it after I got the
reaction I wanted."
