Kashmir's first all-girls rock band may
soon fall silent. Online threats
reportedly from conservatives are
putting pressure on the girls to shun
music once for all. The three girls all
class 10 students had made their first
public performances in December last
year and won best performance
awards. The threats have ranged from
rape to murder. However, a counter
online campaign against the girls has
been able to galvanise significant
support for the girls rock band in the
valley.
