Bulletin # 1 - Sambar caught between tiger and a pair of alligators Nov. 17 '09

A group of students who were on an expedition organized by Amravati University and Environment Conservation Education Society were witness to a rare jungle chase. A sambar (Indian deer) that survived a deadly chase by a tiger in the Tandoba woods in Chandrapur finally had to surrender to the predator. The reason it took respite in a pond in which a pair of alligators were waiting to devour it. The sambar finally chose to die at the hands of the tiger over the alligators.
