Saudi Arabia's Grand Mufti condemns violence over anti-Islam film - International Islam News

As protests against the anti-Islam film continues to simmer, Saudi Arabia's highest-ranking religious authority has appealed to the Muslims worldwide not to unleash violence against innocent people. Grand Mufti Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh said and I quote "Condemnation of the attempts to abuse the prophet should be within the law of Allah and Sunnah of the Prophet....Muslims should not shed the blood of innocent people or vandalise private properties or public institutions. The grand Muft also warned that the enemies of Prophet and Muslims achieve their goals when Muslims resort to violence.
