TMC does not support 51% FDI in retail: Mamata

The government on its part has launched a massive PR drive to sell FDI in retail to allies and opposition parties. Sources tell us the focus is pushing for discussion without voting and build its case emphasizing on an India-specific FDI model. Commerce minister Anand Sharma is to talk to the allies, while trouble shooter Pranab Mukherjee tries to convince the opposition.
