Inferior quality of bulletproof jacket for Mumbai police

It been almost a year after the tragic incident of 26/11 struck Mumbai. It was exposed that the bulletproof jackets available with the Mumbai police are of inferior quality as the bullets passed the jackets killing officers like Hemant Karkare. A file containing all the information regarding the inferior quality of bullet proof jackets has gone missing and to settle the air on the issue, an enquiry was ordered by Chief Minister Ashok Chavan and then Home Minister Jayant Patil after the 26/11 attack. But nothing has been done so far and now and now they have no idea about their promises.
