'India, China continue to be on good terms'

In an apparent attempt to cool things down, Chinese ambassador to India Zhang Yang on Wednesday said that India and China continue to be on "very good terms'' and that both the countries remain committed to carrying the ties forward in a "cooperative and mutually beneficial'' manner. Zhang's statement comes ahead of what is being described as the most crucial meeting between the top leaders of the two countries in recent times at the East Asia Summit later this week in Thailand.
