Philippines flood crisis deepens. Part 1 of 4

Thousands of Filipinos remained trapped in their homes because of floodwaters from tropical storm Ketsana, which killed scores of people with many more fatalities expected to be reported. A massive rescue operation is under way in the wake of the storm, whose torrential rains flooded the capital Manila and nearby provinces.
