Uttarakhand Tragedy EFFECT : Govindghat, now a ghost town

Hundreds of flies buzzed busily
around uncollected garbage strewn
along the main road. Home and
shop owners seemed to have had
just enough time to lock their
homes and leave their town in an
eerie silence. The ground under the
helipad - belonging to a company
that ferried rich pilgrims to
Hemkund Sahib and right near the
banks of the Alaknanda - had swept
away. (Shocking Uttarakand Reality, India Tragedy, Natural Calamity, Rain disaster)

Bollywood CONTROVERSY | Sooraj Pancholi seeks bail in ' Jiah Khan Suicide Case '

Suraj Pancholi's whose
judicial custody had been extended
till the 11th of July will appeal for
a bail today at the Mumbai High
Court. But it looks like it wont be
easy this time as well for sooraj as
Jiah's mother Rabiya Khan had filed
an application in Mumbai High
Court adding her as an intervener.
She is opposing that Sooraj's
should not get bail. On June 27th
Sooraj's judical custody was
extended by the session court and
a day earlier his father Aditya
Pancholi had moved the Mumbai
High court for his son's bail, after
the earlier bail plea was rejected
on 21st June due to the prima facie
evidence to connect him with the
offence of abetting Jiah's suicide.

which, the bodies of the flood
victims, were being cremated. He
alleged that the bodies were
charred like garbage which was an
insult to the deceased. Baba
Ramdev says the politicians don't
care about the lives lost... but are
keen on taking credits for the
