Today, to serve out his term, Dutt
is expected to be moved to Pune's
Yeravada jail. Dutt earlier surrendered himself to Arthur Road prison, but he cannot be kept into the notorious facility as it is meant for undertrials. Dutt who was convicted under Arms Act in the 1993 Bombay serial blasts was sentenced for 5 years, of which he
has spent one-and-a-half years in
jail in the past.
