at the Delhi airport today. The
obstacle that the alert SpiceJet
found was actually an Emirates
aircraft parked on the runway. The
Emirates flight had developed a
snag and was stationed there. But
the air traffic control unaware of
the flight being stationed there
cleared the landing for the SG 224
flight from Bangalore with 164
passengers.
But the pilot who had deployed his
landing gears was in for a rude
shock on coming face to face with
another flight. Acting swiftly, the
pilot aborted the landing process
and moved away averting a major
