YP Singh names Sharad Pawar in irrigation scam - India Controversy News

Former Mumbai IPS officer YP Singh on Thursday claimed that activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal did not make full revelation on Maharashtra land scam and alleged that he suppressed other names. He said that Union minister and NCP chief Sharad Pawar is involved in Maharashtra irrigation scam. YP Singh alleged wrongful allotment of land to Lavasa project by NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule and Ajit Pawar. Singh also alleged that Ajit Pawar gave 348 acres of land to Lavasa Lake City on lease for Rs 23,000 per month for 30 years and Sharad Pawar's kin benefited from Lavasa scam. He also added that Ajit Pawar transferred land to Supriya Sule and her husband's firm. Both husband and wife are having 21 per cent stake in Lake City Corporation.
