Malala attack: Rehman Malik offers $1m bounty for Taliban spokesman - International News

Pakistan's interior minister, Rehman Malik has offered a 1 million US dollar bounty on Monday for Pakistani Taliban spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan. Taliban has accepted responsibility for the attack on Malala. This comes as authorities in Pakistan said they are moving forward with their investigation into the attack on Malala Yousufzai, the girl who was shot in the head for championing the cause of girls' education. The Pakistani Interior Minister says the plan to shoot Malala Yousafzai was hatched across Pakistan's border, in Afghanistan. Malik would not say whether the Pakistani govt will carry out an offensive immediately, but indicated it will make its move when the intelligence is right.
