The Jammu and Kashmir vigilance commission
has nailed Congress MP Chowdhary Lal Singh in
a major land grab case, and the Omar Abdullah
government in the state is slated to find it
difficult to ignore the charges against him.
In a confidential letter to the Chief Minister's
secretariat, accessed by CNN-IBN, the
Vigilance Commissioner has said the powerful
Congress MP illegally occupied over 92 kanals
of government land in Hiranagar tehsil in
Kathua district.
