Hot India Unbelievable / International - Complaint filed against authors reading Rushdie book

Two separate complaints have been filed against authors who have read out excerpts from Satanic Verses. Complaints filed in the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Jaipur and in Ajmer have given direction to police to lodge FIRs and probe the matter. They alleged that the authors acted in an illegal manner by reading excerpts from the book at a session during the Jaipur literary festival. Organizers were also named in the complaint.
