Petronas buys 2.3% in Cairn India for $240 mn

Private sector oil exploration major, Cairn India, which raised funds of $1.6 billion on Wednesday to fund its debt and capex, on Thursday divested 2.3 per cent of its stake in the company to Malaysian oil major Petronas for a value of $240 million.
