In his first press conference after the Shiv Sena suffered its worst electoral defeat under his leadership in the Assembly polls, Uddhav Thackeray surprised everyone by denying that the Sena had lost the polls. I do not regard it as our defeat, said Uddhav. On the other hand, Shiv Sena supemo Bal Thackeray has changed his stand on his recent comment that the Marathi manoos had stabbed him in the back, saying that he did not mean all Maharashtrians but only those who had quit the Sena.
