Chinese investment in India is low

Global FDI inflows dropped by 54% and M&As by 77% during the first quarter of 2009 as compared to the same period last year. India and China already account for about a third of global FDI flows. In India, the FDI levels have grown consistently. In fact the growth in August 2009 has been 40% more than that in August 2008.
