Four years after he was allegedly involved in a triple murder case, Trinamool Congress MLA from Birbhum, Manirul Islam remains untouched by the Bengal Police, while the victims' families continue living in constant fear. Eighty-year-old Zarina Bibi, a refugee in her own village, keeps shifting homes to escape the wrath of Manirul Islam. In 2010, the TMC MLA had allegedly summoned four men to his house to convince them into giving up their sand lifting business from the adjacent riverbed.
