A class IV student was raped by a school
sweeper Monu in Jaspur area of Madhya
Pradesh. A case has been lodged under section
377 of the Indian Penal Code. Monu is named in
three rape cases earlier too. In 2005 Monu had
served a jail sentence for another rape case.
Monu is absconding and police are trying to nab
him. Meanwhile questions are being raised on
why was a rape accused employed and why
were his whereabouts not checked before
employing him.
