yesterday, the Indian government
was talking of waiving Mancini's
diplomatic immunity but now MEA
sources tell NewsX that the
government is in a bind on the
issue as the Italian envoy's
immunity is absolute. External
Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid
will present the government's stand
on the issue to the Supreme Court
on Monday.
