While calls for justice and concern for the Delhi gangrape survivor continue, another case that had grabbed the headlines a year back seems a long forgotten incident. The wait for the Park Street rape victim doesn't seem to end. Kolkata Police is yet to nab Kader Khan, the main accused in the case. On February 5 this year, a 37-year-old Anglo-Indian single mother was gangraped after she took a lift in a car from Park Street. Initially, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had termed the incident 'fabricated'. However Kolkata Police soon proved her wrong.
