In a surprise development last night the 23
year old Delhi gangrape survivor was flown to
Singapore for treatment. She has been
admitted to the Mount Elizabeth hospital that
specialises in multi-organ transplants. After
the Health Ministry reportedly contacted the
Singapore Government. The victim was first
taken by a Medicity Medanta ambulance to the
Palam airport. And then flown out in an air
ambulance. Her parents have also been sent
with her. The Centre had earlier indicated that
the girl could be moved to another medical
facility if the need arose.
