Consumer fighting hard for his national language.

While Raj Thackery is fighting hard to propagate Marathi language in the state, a consumer in State consumer forum imposes that he wants his judgment to be translated in our national language, as he doesnt understand Marathi or English, in which Consumer forum write their judgments.
55-year-old Deepak Shah was desperate to understand his judgment of his eight-year-old medi-claim case. But he was disappointed to see that it was written in English. I am a Gujurati businessmen, I do not understand English language as well as Marathi. After receiving my cases judgment on 27th August, I thought I had finally acquired justice, But all went in vain. Now I want it translated into Hindi, our national language and I only understand that language, said Shah.
Shah had filed a consumer case in 2001 against New India Insurance Company for not paying him his medi-claim money. After fighting for eight years in Bandras consumer forum, Shah finally got justice on 27th August 2009. But according to him, it was written in English language which he was unable to understand. The judge used to interrogate in Marathi with me, which I never used to understand. I respect the language, but that doesnt mean every person staying in Maharashtra should know that language, said Shah .So he sent a letter to State Consumer Forum under RTI to obtain his judgment in our National Language.
I will fight for my right as a consumer and get my judgment translated into our national language, no matter I will have to wait for another eight years, said depressed Shah.
