Gurgaon: two shot dead for holding a family hostage

Gurgaon: A family was held hostage by armed robbers for nearly two hours in their house here before the police came to their rescue and killed two of the criminals in a gunfight, an official said Saturday. The crime drama unfolded Friday night when one of the family members was overpowered by five armed men outside his house in Palam Vihar area of Gurgaon, adjacent to New Delhi, when he returned from work at around 9.30 p.m.
