On The Newshour Debate Special Edition, as the country continues to remain on edge over protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the NRC, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that government had never discussed anything about a nation-wide NRC apart from the one that has already been conducted in Assam.
