The Bharat Bandh called by several upper caste-OBC organizations has begun. Protesters stopped trains in Bihar's Ara while the National Highway has been blocked in Madhubani and Khagaria.
Bandh activists disrupted train transit and road traffic in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior as well. Meanwhile, Section 144 has been imposed in ten districts of Madhya Pradesh to avoid violence while drones have been employed for surveillance of the unfolding events.
