There has been a surge in dengue and malaria cases in New Delhi. According to MCD, 466 cases of dengue and 401 cases of Malaria have been reported in the capital till September 14. For dengue, it's a spurt, compared to the cases registered in last couple of years - 131 cases were reported in 2011 and only 19 cases were reported in 2012.
