Former Pakistan president Pervez
Musharraf was arrested on
Thursday in the 2006 Akbar Bugti
murder case. Baloch leader Nawab
Akbar Bugti was killed in a cave on
August 26, 2006 during a military
crackdown ordered by Musharraf
who was president and army chief
at the time.
Musharraf will remain at his farmhouse for the duration of the
remand. The farmhouse, at Chak
Shahzad, a village in Islamabad,
had earlier been declared a sub-
